WD1600JS drives at different firmware revisions

Hi,   I'm having a problem with firmware mismatches when connecting a bunch of WD1600JS drives to a Dell PE2950 server via an MD1000 enclosure.  While I realize these drives probably weren't designed for this type of activity, this kind of thing has worked in the past for me.  They all show up normally, and are easily placed in arrays and raid groups, but when the I/O starts, they exhibit strange behavior.  Some arrays stop working completely, some say they have failed but upon clearing the configurations the drives appear to be working normally.

My big question is, how do i get firmware upgrades for these drives?  In the BIOS i can see that the firmware revisions are at different levels, some at 2E01, others at 2E03 or 04, and i've seen some WD drives as high as 2E0B.

Thanks!

WD does not publish firmware updates for internal drives in their downloads library, you may contact WD tech support to request them.

As Vadir stated is best to contact WD directly to see if able to get an update for this drive.
