UPGRADING AND READING HUMAX PVR WD5000AVVS

Hi i have a Humax pvr 9300t which has crashed and lost its recordings, it has a WD5000AVVS drive.

1  can i upgrade it to 1 tb or better    what WD number will it be? 

2 can i read the crashed drive, as there should still be 200 ++ hours of recordings there somewhere

To read the failed drive you will need data recovery 

 

try going to WD's web to get a compatible upgrade drive
