Scorpio Blue 2.5inch and Intel IHC7 chip set

Hi

 

I am looking to buy a 320Gb 2.5 inch scorpio blue drive to go in an old Mac Mini which has the Intel ICH7 SATA chipset (1.5Gb/s). I notice that some VIA and SIS chipsets have problems with the drives. Am I right in thinking that there are no problems with the ICH7 chipset and it will work OK in my old Mac Mini??

I have that chipset in my PC laptop and don't have a problem with my Scorpio Blue WD 1TB drive, WD10JPVT.
