HD letter designations

Can anyone explain the letter designation of the VelociRaptor models; HLHX, HLFS etc.  Thanks.

HLFS is 3.5" SATA II on the mounting frame with 16MB cache, HLHX is 3.5" SATA III on the mounting frame with 32MB cache.
