Re: External Hard Drive not showing up in Computer

This could be a drive letter conflict.  Try assigning a higher letter to the drive, also try using it on a different computer to compare results.

Re: External Hard Drive not showing up in Computer

did any one here have solved this "not showing up" issue of your external hard disk???

Please help as i am experiencing it now.. I have my 160gb HDD where unfortunately one day didnt show up on My Computer even though it is detected as USB Mass storage and it can be seen in Devices and Printers as External HDD.

I have tried changing drive letters in Disk Management as usual suggestion, but still id doesn't show up, i cannot access it until now.

Please help me as I am so desperate to get my important files in there.. Thanks in advance!
