I am interested in writing a WD Remote app for webos but is there an API

Hello

 

I am interested in writing a WD Remote app for webos (HP/Palm phones and Tablets) but is there a published API ? Or any hints on how best to interface with the WD TV Live ? (Apps for webos are basically  little websites that use can use javascript code )

I'm pretty sure the api's are all proprietary.  So far we've only been writing mobile apps in house.  You could post it as an idea.
