Can not play MKV file via DLNA of mynet N900

Play AVI file is fine via DLNA of N900 router, but not MKV file. MKV file is shown on the list, but can not play, always error “…format not support…”. Please update N900 router firmware for MKV file. Thanks

Hi  eusdins,  I had the same issue with my MyNet900 when I tried to access .mkv file through my Samsung Smart TV via wireless, I got the same message that ‘format not supported’.  But when I accessed the same file via wired connection, it played excellent.  Just my 2 cents.

Hi, i also have the same problem with my N900C. MKV files are listed but not playable. When i play MKV files from usb drive to the TV its working fine. Using a wired connection will not solved the problem. Hope WD ist working on an update to fix this problem. Otherwise the router goes back.
