My Net N900 storage drive + external hard drive issue

Hi,

I just received my router N900 today and have been playing around with it most of the night to make it work (which finally happened). So now everything works fine except the internal storage and my external hard drive (1Tb WD). I can both see them on my computer, get access to the folders and even open the files from both hard drive, but I can’t past any files or folder from my computer into them! Which is very strange, I must have missed something but don’t know what…

Anyone have an idea?

I’m running on Win 8 which I upgraded few days ago from Win 7.

Try to type \192.168.1.1 into your File Explorer for Windows 8.

Depend on the setting of your router, you will be asked to give a username and password to access your files.

From there you will be able to copy and paste any files to your external hard drive :smiley:

Otherwise, use FTP to upload your files is also a way.

Thanks zbeyuz, it resolved my problem :slight_smile: it was 192.168.6.1 in my case. I can’t believe it was so simple!! :confounded:
