We want hardware encryption

hi to all…

i want to buy a NAS storage device and i thought it would be my book live. BUT it does not include HARDWARE ENCRYPTION. So i decide to wait. When i saw my cloud “a new device” i was excited. But again it does not include hardware encryption.

I just want to say it is a big mistake not to add hardware encryption to this NAS device. There are lots of people like me, just waiting a NAS device which includes hardware encryption.

Your post sounds more like a good Feature Request; the best place for this, is in the Ideas Exchange section. This way someone from WD will be sure to see it and will allow more users to support your idea.

However, I would first search and make sure that there are no other active Feature Requests suggesting the same or similar improvements. If there is, then you could add your post and vote on it.

WDC has created a great basic NAS. I suggest looking at Synology, QNAP for hardware encryption. Very CPU and Ram intensive.
