SSH login problem on My Cloud

So i’m trying to log in using SSH. 

I’ve never changed the password or done anything, i just enabled SSH and it said what my username and password were. So i went into terminal and typed “ssh XXX.XXX.X.XX” and it says enter password. Everytime i enter the password however it gives me invalid error and won’t continue to anything. I’ve looked up the apple help file and it says to paste the username which i tried even though it just asked for password and its still not working.

Wondering how i can check this or if i’m doing something worng, or need to add something else to the login in terminal.

I’m using a mac btw and trying to activate my USB 3 drive which works everywhere except with the My Cloud and just shows 0kb available.

You might try

SSH root@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

The login for the MyCloud is sshd, so try “ssh -l sshd xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx” and see if that works better.

That’s on the EX4, not this box.
