I have bought a MY Cloud 3TB drive and was wondering what is the quickest method for getting all your data onto the drive as each movie im uploading (5GB) is taking over an hour doing via wifi. :cry:
Dont do it over wifi.
Quickest method is to connect your MyCLoud to a Gigabit switch/router and connect your computer to it ALSO with Gigabit adapter.
This way the speed is around 50 MB/second (around 3 GB/minute 180 GB/hour) of course it will be slower with small files.
