my LG Blu ray player will stream my mkv movies via Twonky from my my book live. the problem is that it won’t allow me to pause or fast forward nor will subtitles work. if I instead of twonky use the WD dnla media server will this fix problems?
Doubtful. I think it’s a limitation of LG. My BD player does the same thing with every DLNA server I tried. But, there’s no harm in trying! Let us know.
good news for me. switching to WD media server now I can pause any movie. Twonky server wouldnt let me pause my movies. resume from position works and I’m also able to Que to any point in the film by pressing the numbers. funny- these two features don’t work when the movie contains HD audio though and subtitles still never work unfortunantly.
