Hi, 

Got myself a my book live 1tb

Have a Macbook pro and PC

manage to get movies and music onto the drive, but today, cannot access the drive what so ever, in any way. No cloud access,  http://192.168.1.37/UI/# doesn’t work. The drive is just a ghost, even connected directly via ethernet 

Any idea ?

Connect the MBL to your router.  Then look at the DCHP client table in your router to find the IP address assigned to your MBL. Note this address.  I say this because your IP address may have changed if you did not set it up as static intiitally.

If the IP address is different, then use this new IP adddress to access your MBL via the browser…  If it works, then you will also hve to remap your drives in Windows Explorer.

If it does not work, unplug the ethernet cable from your MBL, but leave it powered on. Wait until the light turns blue. Might take a long time. When it turns blue, then reset the MBL with the button on the rear ( 5 seconds hold). Then the MBL will reboot and you can attach the ethernet cable.  Do the router IP check listed above, and then try again wih the browser interface.
