I’m planning on taking a vacation and taking my pc with me. Is there a way to leave my mybook live at home and plugged into my router while still having it back up any files that i work on while away?

Hi superjames, welcome to the Community. You can access the My Book Live remotely from your PC and copy the files manually, but there is no supported way to do automatic backups. Check page 94 of the manual for more information.
