My book live 2TB freezes when doing backup to Time Machine

i just bought new 2TB My book live 3 weeks ago, but recently its been stalling during doing Time Machine Backup.

its got latest firmware MyBookLive 02.32.05-046 : Core F/W

when checking TM Log i get no errors, it just stalls, ive waited over 2hrs for it to continue but it just stalls and goes no further, i also have a Time capsule running along side, doing alternate backups. the Time capsule backs up just fine, and quick too. ive tried unticking and reticking time machine backup option in settings. im at a loss.

im running Mountain LIon 10.8.2 on retina MBP

Is it stalling with all files or only certain files?

Have you tried powercycling the drive and the MBP?

i have cycled both MBP and My Book, its stalling when doing a full backup.
