iTunes playback problems

MyBookLive 3TB / Max OSX 10.9.1

Hi,

I’m having a problem playing my music through iTunes.

All music is stored on MyBookLive, which is connected to my network via ethernet through a wireless router. This plays back great via my Sonos system, I have no problems.

However, playing music on my Mac via iTunes is a problem. The music stops playing every 10 seconds or so, waits a few seconds, re-starts playing then stops again. It’s pretty much unusable. It hasn’t always been like this.

I have re-set MyBookLive and all software is up to date.

Any ideas?

Any idea what changed? Did you upgrade to 10.9.1? If you did, there has been lots of complains about 10.9 and wifi issues.

Yes, I did upgrade to 10.9.1, and looking back it was probably around that time I started getting playback problems.

I’ll look forward to Apple fixing this!
