Even after a factory reset I still seem to have a lot of random folders created by other optware / ipkg files which were unsuccessful. Is there a way to clean all this up? I’m also curious as to a way to see total RAM usage of the device.

You can monitor ram usage with the ‘top’ command from an ssh terminal. I personally prefer ‘htop’, which you can install with aptitude.
