For certain video files i have moved to the drive they appear on the drive with the names i have assigned to them - when you browse via finder they all look fine. When i connect via my wdtv or via infuse app to the drive some of the files have odd names… i think it may be something to do with mkv video files with containers that have different names?
Anyone have any ideas how i could change the names so the correct name displays either by finder or via apps & wdtv?
Twonky will show the names as defined in the metadata inside the file.
If there is no metadata, it will just use the filename without the extension.
