Very slow to delete large files

I found it’s very slow to delete large files/folders from my book live even though I do it via Ethernet instead of wireless, any better way to do it?

Well, it shouldn’t take more than a few seconds to delete a large file… If you’re talking about THOUSANDS of files, it can take a couple of minutes…

You can also log in via SSH and delete them from the command line.

Thanks for reply… but how to turn on ssh service? got error msg as listed below:

ssh: connect to host 192.168.1.52 port 22: Connection refused
Connection closed

it works! now i can use rm to delete folders that contains thousands of file in a few minutes, thanks a lot
