Am unable to get my My Book Live to recognise the Buffalo Linkstation on the network. Odd since a different flavour of Buffalo Linkstation is on the list of drives validated for Safepoint backups.
Could be that I am doing something silly. Did notice that the Buffalo Linkstation wasn’t recognised by Windows 7 until I patched the registry key for the Lanman Compatibility level. Wonder if it could be something similar with the My Book Live.
In any event, does anyone have any suggestions as to how the My Book Live might recognise the Buffalo Linkstation?
