I am unable to access mbl, its not recognized on the network and the wd discovery tool cant find it. I think i need to factory restore it. How can i factory restore it without being able to access it, i would hate to loose my data, but at this point i may have no choice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
You can reset the drive by pressing the reset button and data will remain intact.
The full factory reset which is done through the interface is the one that erases all data on the drive.
