Don’t use Microsoft’s free SyncToy utility. Tried it and the Samba server in the MyBookLive went crazy. Crashing and restarting many times over. Asked WDC support for assistance and generally the issue got totally dismissed. I wanted to do the thing and NOT use SmartWare.
