Hello. Have had MBL 2Tb for a month or so and like others have had difficulties. It has all updates. My Sony Vaio laptop has 2 drives/partitons. C drive for programmes and D drive for data only.
Smartware. D drive. Set this to save all files. At some stage the Home screen altered to show as System 81.8 Gb in a light grey colour. When hover the curser over it it shows excluded. At the MBL section it shows Additional files 17.7 Gb also in grey. Click on the Backup Tab. At Backup in file mode unable to tick any box. In both File and Category it show no files to save.
Have searched this fourum and the internet to with any suggesteds no avail so far. Have uninstalled all WD stuff and reinstalled. Have reported to WD but no response despite should respond within a day.
