Safe to update Firmware?

I have just bought and setup my first My Book Live, and It asked me whether I wanted to update the firmware.

I initially said no, and have been operating OK for the past hour or so. Everything so far is working as expected, no unforeseen issues (yet).

I have one burning question, after reading the various posts on here, I know that some people have issues with the drive after updating the firmware, so should I update the firmware?

I am running: 02.00.35-423 at the moment, and keeps asking me to update.

Normally firmware updates are sent to fix an issue that some users might be having. Now if your unit is working properly, you don't need to update.

You what people says "If ain't broke don't fix it"
