Opening Private share on My Book Live in Windows 7

I’ve created a private share on my 3TB My Book Live. When I try to open it from a computer on the same network it doesnt accept my credentials.

I have given my user account Full Access to the folder and I’m usung the same password that works when I remote onto the drive.

Is there something Im missing here?

i usually type in “mybooklive\Agustin” then my password in the next box and hit enter, you might also want to double check the permissions.

if all else fails try using the command prompt 

CTRL+R 

cmd

net use \mybooklive passwordhere /user:username   (if you renamed your mbl enter the name you put instead of mybooklive)

that should do it try opening your share again

if you want to map a share while you add it type in: 

net use n: \mybooklive\share                                               (share with your private share)
