No way to access files from Chromebook and ChromeOS?

Chromebook and ChromeOS is now for real and with a huge market. But not supporting Java really limits the platform.  But big Vendors like WD should be offering ChromeOS options by now… IMO.

Any way to access my public and private shares from a Chromebook? Any plans for this?

I have FTP enabled onmy shares, but not finding a Chrome FTP App either  that I feel good about entering my WD user and password into.

What can we do to help get WD and ChromeOS to talk?

I think a device like this is completely missing the mark if it does not aggressively go after the very niche market of the Chromebook where it’s all about the need for Cloud Network Accessable Storage… duh… just saying.
