I have had my MyBook Live for over a year and only today decided it should go on my router. (BT Home Hub 3). Everyone on my network has access, working better than I imagined. But then realised I created another problem. I used to take the drive with me on Holiday, but now everyone has access thats not an option. So if I am away from my Network, is there a way to access the MyBook Live, whilst using an internet connection else where. If yes, can someone explain what I need to do to be able to access it. I am ashuming its not going to be easy. Any help appreciated. (sorry my tech days died with the Spectrum ZX 128k lol)
It’s actually very easy:
Access the dashboard ( instructions) and then go to Seetings>Remote access and follow the instructions.
