MyBookLive too slow to play FLAC files

I’m trying to access and play FLAC files stored on my drive remotely via MyCoud, it is so slow it simply wont play them. The connection speed of the LAN where I’m trying to play them from is fine, I can play FLAC files from other sources on the internet and my uplaod speed from home is more than adequate. Is there something else I need to do for this to all work?

Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to stream the FLAC files with Twonky or DLNA,  or are you opening them in web2go with a player like VLC?

The web2go interface is an encrypted connecton so the encryption makes it slow for large files (which FLAC are).  An easier option is to stream the FLAC files through the AccessBook interface which is available in FeaturesPacks.
