MyBookLive can't perform Smartware backup

I have a MyBookLive. When I try to backup with SmartWare MyBookLive will not work because is not detected.

The same thing happens in itunes for music.

 

I use a pc with WIN 7 and MyBookLive is connected to the wifi-router.

Sharing files via wifi works and MyBookLive is detected but to use Smartware and Itunes, my pc must be connected to the router via LAN.

 

Solution?

Well dude, what I can suggest is to make sure the MBL is updated to at least version 2.x.x and Smartware to version 1.5.x and making sure the MBL has the same exact workgroup name as your computer....

The name is the same and everything is updated to the latest version.
