MyBookLive 3TB won't let FTP delete files

Had the device for 2 years the mapping process hasn’t worked for quite a while.   My work around has been using FTP as my backup.    MBL won’t accept the FTP delete function.   I’m trying to remove some old files and directories and I get authorization issues.

Hello, have you tried updating the firmware to the latest version? You could also try pressing the reset button on the back for 4 seconds. Also check if the links below helps.
