MyBookLive 2tb missing disk space

My drive was low on disk space, about 1.4g free, so I deleted a folder that had about 2.4g in it.  however now it still shows 1.4g free. it is plugged into my network router.  I rebooted the drive via My Book Live interface and the same.  I rebooted my laptop just in case it cached the settings, same thing.  I accessed via another computer, same thing.  any help and/or suggestions are welcome

Hello,

I recommend you try a drive reset and/or power cycle.

I’d recommend leaving at least 50GB of free space.  

With only 3-4gb free, chances are, you are running out of temporary space for the various processes to run.
