How do I delete files from MyBook to allow more space on the drive? If not can I start from scratch as a new install?

Hello,

If the backup was created with Smartware, you will need to access the dashboard and select the “Backup” option, you will see a window with the name “Backup List”. In this window you are able to select the backup you want to delete just click on the trash can next to the backup name.

Hi,
I have a similar problem. I also backed up with smartware. But when I open smartware and hit on the backup tab, I don’t see Backup list.

I am using MBL 2 TB.

WD Quick View 3.1.7.8
WD Drive Service 1.6.0.10

I have uptodat firmware.

Am I opening the wrong thing? Please advise.
