My PC has 500GB and MyBookLive is taking 893GB for Backup

Hello, 

I just installed a MyBookLive and in Windows 8 I configured File History to \MYBOOKLIVE\TimeMachine\MyFiles, it says that it is backing up 893GB but my PC has only a 500GB hard drive, and actually only 200GB of data I want to back up. 

I guess I am doing something completely wrong, I just want to have a backup of my files in the WD MyBookLive, and I want it to update if I change files (dropbox-like).

Please try reinstalling the backup software to make sure that it will read all the information properly

Yes, WD Smartware will automatically backup the changes to the files if you have the software setup for automatic backup.
