Hi,

I recently updated my Firmware on my MyBookLive (2TB), since then all the videos I access through my Apple TV have been stalling but that’s not my main problem.

I switched off the HD to see if that would reset and improve the streaming but now I can’t connect to the HD from my laptop (Mac Book Pro) at all. The HD has a violet light which means it’s updating the Firmware but I left it plugged in all night and I still have the same issue.

Any help would be greatly appereciated.

I recommend that you try to power cycle the drive, if this does not work you may also try resetting it by holding the reset button on the back for 4 seconds.
