After the latest firmware, my MBL is acting strange (stranger than normal - as everyone has stated before it started out fast during first backup and now always seems much slower). Around the time of the firmware update, I also renamed the device within Dashboard to keep separately from my other Live Drive.
It continuously blinks green, even when there are no backups performing. It’s hit or miss being located by the dashboard program or accessible by Windows. It won’t complete a Short Test Diagnostic within the Dashboard Utilities heading, I tried it at home and work and both hang at 90%. Is there a way to roll back or update to the precious firmware? Thanks in advance. If all fails, wouldn’t mind removing drive and putting in computer as desktop. Any foreseeable problems with doing that?
