I bought the My Book Live on Sunday thinking it would be a great alternative to hosting all my media on my computer. The Twonky Media Server was setup by default on the device. When I access Twonky via my WD Live box on another tv all the media contect is available. When I access the service with my Sharp Tv I see 3 videos of the 30ish that are on there.
Media compatibility shouldn’t be a problem because this tv has played these videos before with my old setup.
I previously used WMP and Serviio dlna servers.
I had a similar problem with Serviio when I first set it up. I originally didn’t see any media content on my tv. What go that working was by selecting the correct device profile. As far as I can tell, that functionality isn’t available from the MBL settings page.
Any suggestions?
