MBL slow stream to Samsung TV

Hi - I am having issues getting the MBL (3TB)  to stream effectively to my Samsung TV (ES8000) - I have the Twonky service up and running and I can browse all the files easily on the TV itself, but when I select a file over a few mb’s in size to play it just hangs for ever… loading… loading… not sure if it is an issue on the MBL settings or on the TV itself. I have checked I can play the files via a USB stick & I stream perfectly well directly from my PC to the TV but I am out of space to expand my collection…

I am in the UK using a BT Homehub 3 router

The whole reason I got this disc is to have my media library streaming content to the TV so this is really annoying - any ideas out there?

Try ArkMc app its easy to use, straightforward menu to discover, select, and stream  music, videos and photos to Samsung TV

I had nothing but trouble streaming from MBL to Samsung TV until I changed the media server from Twonky to the WD DLNA server now the TV works flawless with the MBL

Hi Jouster,

Do you have a tutorial on how to change the Twonky server to WD DLNA server?

Thanks!
