MBL FTP question

Hi there, new user here

i just purchased MBL 2TB and it works perfectly with well everything so far, mobile, tablet, pc, xbox360.

what i would like to know is:

is it possible to setup an FTP account, wich has access to a specified folder within a share, but without having access to the entire share??

example:

i want user A to have access via FTP to a specified share this case his own SHARE A.

but i also want him to be able to have access to a folder within user B’s share, without having access to the entire share.

so i dont have to have 2 shares with folders with identical content

It’s possible, but you will have to enable SSH on the drive and edit a file as shown here

thanks, but that only makes it “locked” to 1 folder, what if i want it to be able to see 3 folders, but not the rest?

im sorry for all the “noobish” questions, i havent messed around that much with this kind of setups.

I’m not sure if this is possible or not, I’m trying to wrap my head around it
