Import photo to WD Booklive

I m using Mac Book Air and kept all photo in the external harddisk (WD Book Live). How can I import my photo directly from SD card to the external HDD?  

During the import process using Canon Image Browser, i changed the location to select WD Booklive but it prompted a meesage that “cannot write to the selected folder”.  so i have to import the photo to my MacAir and then re-transfer them to the WD BookLive, which is time consuming.  

Please advise.

Hello, check the Canon Image Browser help file to see if it supports saving to a network location.

Well instead of using software just open the two locations and drag and drop the images to the desired location. Also make sure you have full access to the share your trying to write into.
