If your having trouble connecting

For those of you trying to troubleshoot yellow lights. It worked for me to connect to the My Cloud through the manual connection.

I also changed the connection from a netgear hub directly to the router, maybe the connection to the hub wouldn’t allow feedback when I disconnected and reconnected the ethernet…even though that is where it has worked for the previous 4 months.

Also before you connect the device to your home network, if your motherboard has another ethernet port, connect it their then access the options to change how the media is accessed and is ported to the network, may help.

I am currently updating the firmware now…hopefully it doesn’t brick.
