There was another thread in this forum where nfodiz had provided great advice on how to allow for Git to be installed. I was able to follow the intructions and get it working successfully (so far at least). I couldn’t reply to either of the older threads, but wanted to both say thanks to nfodiz and to provide others who might be trying to do the same with a link to the steps I took:
