Thanks for the consolidated and updated script… was struggling to recover my MBL 2.0 TB for almost 6 months… which had gone bad due to some thing… The yellow light kept glowing …
I executed the script flawlessly(except 1 error), in the third attempt…
The only error that I saw apart from fixing some blocks in the superblock…:
mdadm: cannot open device /dev/sdb2: Device or resource busy
The device still continues to glow yellow…
Do you think has caused the hdd to not recover?
