Error 33152

Everything I try to do with the MyBook Live results in an error, looking at the forums the answer seems to be to factory reset it.  Seriously?  After getting it out of the box and updating everything?  After I have created my entire file structure?  And Backed up all data?  Hours of work lost?

Not acceptable.

If there is no answer to this problem without losing data I shall put the thing back in the box and send it back, and buy something that works.

I need a fix QUICKLY.
