Cannot access Private Share using Windows 8

On my laptop I’m unable to access a private share.

Each time Windows my ask me the password which y whould either type admin or mybooklive\admin as the username then the password after but nothing works. Basicly I can only use this NAS with share that are not password protected.

I’ve also unmap any network drive and tried adding the credential in Windows Credential but that didn’t help.

If you are able to see the shares and then it ask you for the username and password, you should try with the username and password to login to the computer. If you dont have a username and password to access your computer, check the network settings and look for advanced sharing settings and make sure that you have the file sharing on and also the option that says public folder sharing.

I’ve tried my Microsoft ID (because of Windows 8) and it’s refused when trying to open the share.
