I have had a MyBook Live for about 6 months and all was working fine on my Windows Network.
I could use the drive from my main Desktop PC, my laptop and my son’s laptop.
I have just purchased and iMac and initially I could see the Public folder on the drive.
I installed Paralles 8 on the iMac and migrated my Windows 7 from my Desktop PC. That went well but now I cannot see the MyBook Live drive from any PC. I cannot connect from any of the Laptops or the iMac.
Would anyone know what is wrong.
I have downloaded MyBook Live setup for Windows & Mac but they do not see the drive.
I have turned off the drive, restarted the PC’s but nothing works.
Is there something else I can try?

I’d suggest checking your router setup page to see if the MBL is getting IP address, then pinging that IP to see if it responds.
Also what control light do you get on MBL (green/flashing blue, etc.) ?
After you’ve established MBL’s presence on the network try connecting to it via browser http://MBLIPaddresshere/UI or http://mybooklive/UI/# and check the main panel for any error messages (see User Manual for that).

Thanks for the reply.
The light at the front is a solid green.
I cannot get into the control page as the browser reports that the IP is not recognised.
I can get into my router setup page but do not know how or where I check to see if the MBL is getting an IP Address.

Green is good.
You mean you cannot see the MBL from any of your home computers?
Please refer to your router manual/webiste/youtube videos to find out where to look for IP address assignment.
