Can't get my MBL set up...constant green flashing light and not visible on network

Hi,

I bought my MBL 1tb the other day and have been having major issues with getting it set up. it initially seemed to work ok, and I got to the point where I could set up shares and users. Didn’t have any success getting it to create user folders that would give me write access so I decided to do the firmware update

After doing the firmware update it wouldn’t accept my password in any of the setup pages so Idecided to do a harware reset using a paper clip.

Now it just has a constantly flashing green light on the front and isn’t showing up on the network any more. i’ve tried doing a hardware reset a couple of times but it still wont work at all. 

Not really sure what else I can try as I can’t access the drive at all

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is starting to drive me mad!

Try connecting the MBL directly to the computer and use WD link, to see if it recognizes the MBL.
