The instructions below sent to me by the WD tech support worked for me. I hope it helps!!
In order to see if you are able to map the drive, please download the following program → WD Link. See below how to use this to be able to MAP the drive on your Windows 7 computer. It could be that WD Link does not see the drive, this can be due to an anti-virus. If you are able to shortly shut the anti-virus down and see if the drive comes up then, please do so.

If this does not work, please map the drive manually on the Windows 7 Computer.
Manual Mapping

Right-click on Computer (Under Windows XP this will be My Computer).

Click on Map Network Drive.

Under Drive choose the letter that you want it to have in My Computer.

Under Folder click on Browse and find the folder that you want to map or type the UNC path (using the format \Drive\Share) to the drive. For example, if the share is called Secrets, and your drive is called MyNAS, you would enter \MyNAS\Secrets (or type \mybooklive\public or \ipaddress\pubic
