Best way to stream music to iphone

Hi folks,

I have my itunes music library stored on the MBL.

What’s the best way to listen to it on my iphone when my PC is off?

Is WD2go the only option? it’s very clunky.

Or is there an actual music app?

Or is there some way to get itunes on the iphone to read from the MBL? surely that’s the best option :slight_smile:

I’m considering moving from iphone to android. would this help at all?

when I had an iphone it was difficult to see NAS devices/network shares. Not sure if this has improve recently.

However, for Andrioid, I do use “ES file Explorer”. Once it connects to the network shares, I select the folder or file I want to listen to it, then select the app I want to use to open the files and whala! I stream music to my android. The same for movies or any file actually.

In a few words, as long as you have an app that can see/open network shares, you should be fine.
