A few months ago, I started using the WD SmartWare backup software to back my PC up.
I soon realised that the software was very resource hungry, and started to eat up CPU usuage. I then soon uninstalled the software with a plan to install a third party backup software to replace it.
Can anybody recommend a good backup solution, that is preferably free! I have looked at several possibilities, including Robocopy, but it looked a bit too complicated for me! I just want a program that I can set and walk away and not worry.

WD SmartWare = Backup software
Robocopy = sync/replication
Both have totally different purpose. Do some searches. Here is a simple one I found:

I am looking for backup solutions, and not replication. There are soo many different backup programs, so I dont know where to start!
Alternatively, ill just use Windows Backup/System Image, but it’ll be a faff as Win 7 Home Premuim doesnt support Network backups!
