Accidentally flashed DUO FW to LIVE

I was following one of the amazing guides to downgrade firmware, but I managed to do the most stupid screwup imaginable: instead of firmware version for my MBL, I downloaded and flashed a version for MB Duo!

I can access Dashboard, but that’s it.

-Device reports Usage: 0 TB/0 TB

-I can’t reflash from file: " 31303 - Device does not have enough space for upgrade"

-I can’t manually install correct -deb: "Error fw_update_status: failed 205 “all drives must be present for upgrade”

I guess I’m screwed, right? Any tips? Thanks!

EDIT: I see I’m not alone  http://community.wdc.com/t5/My-Book-Live/Mybook-live-duo-firmware-installed-on-Mybook-live-by-mistake/m-p/532490/highlight/true#M17956

Will try first. Thanks anyway!

I see you resolved your issue… It happens to the best of us

Yes I did, thanks to your guide  Right now I’m unable to update to the latest firmware, it seems to be stuck at 4 % and “upgrading”, and there’s no direct link to download the firmware deb, but nvm.

OK, let me know if you need any further help…

I have manually deleted the “upgrade” folder from CacheVolume and the update works now.

Excellent!
